Relentless

Heroes are invincible! 'Relentless' is an action-packed mob shooter where you, a guardian hero, must hold your ground against hordes of foes, and use invincibility totems to stay alive. Survive for 350 seconds to win. GLHF!!

Unfortunately, the Story and Controls in Main Menu do not work properly. The New Game and the overall game runs okay. We apologize for the mistake.

HOW TO PLAY:

Note: Only one invincibility power-up can remain active at a time.

STORYLINE:
Many decades ago, the Order of Stygolith, a cult of dark sorcerers, had resurfaced in hopes of getting their hands on the 'Orb of Time', a device that was being guarded by you and your comrade. It is believed that the Orb took its user back  several years, and relive the past by interfering with the chronic distortions that manifested upon using this mechanism.

There is a little exchange to this power, though. Another body must be sacrificed in order for one to gain the time source. The Order saw this as a gateway to their malevolent schemes. To prevent this from happening, you invaded their lair one night with your comrade and exchanged blows.

Fate was cruel, however.

You and your comrade were captured by the Order, and.... killed. But only for a while... You were "saved". By your friend. He had used the Orb on you, sending you back in time.

By the time you came to, everything became normal — except that you realized it was the past you were in, on borrowed time. And your friend — he was gone. He had made himself the sacrifice.

You were devastated. But there was still something, lingering, inside your soul. Your friend's spirit. Ushering you to exact revenge. For himself, for your whole kind.
You decide to put an end to this scheme once and for all, ignoring the fact that you would disappear after your time is up — as fate had originally held for you. Time to invite your foes down to that same fate as well.
